Stonework brings strength, structure and character to an outdoor space. A&R Landscapes provides stonework services across Cumbria including dry stone walling, restoration, stone facing and bespoke features for domestic, rural, estate and commercial sites.
Dry stone walling remains one of the most distinctive and durable forms of boundary construction in the Cumbrian landscape. Whether you need a new wall, partial rebuilding or repair to an existing structure, we can help create or restore walls that are practical, durable and visually right for the setting.
Traditional boundaries often play an important role in the character and function of a site. We undertake boundary restoration work involving dry stone walls, stone features and associated landscape elements, helping retain the feel of the site while improving its condition and stability.
Alongside walling, we can use stone in steps, edging, facing work and feature details that give a project a more natural and established finish.
